This is the rainy season. Well named. It rains every day, but not all day. Occasionally it stays rainy for the main part of the day. Most of the time, though, it just comes and goes. We’ve decided that if it is currently raining, it’s probably a good time to get ready to go outside, because then the rain will probably be gone.
Yesterday, I saw it was sunny outside, then was surprised to hear it raining. Sure enough, it was pouring. Ashlyn was sleeping, but I decided to take Bryan out to feel the rain from the roof (no gutters here, just holes for the rain to come through). By the time I got my sandals on and opened the door, the rain was gone…but we still had a good time touching the waterfalls from the roof!
